Ahhhhhhhhhh!! Still buzzing after earlier today. So, went X Factor auditions at the O2 today! Not auditioning, don’t worry.. can’t sing to save me life! Got audience tickets AGAIN, and FINALLY got the chance to go! OMG sooooooooooooooooo worth it, can’t explain. So, so, so good. So many good singers! Very surprised I got to hear so many good acts. I thought there might be one, possibly two but got a good bunch! Guest judge today was Nicole Scherzinger! Pretty impressed with her, she did well. A lot better than she was on X Factor USA, she started to annoy me then. Dermot O’Leary was about too! Shame Olly Murs is still touring the States, didn’t see Caroline Flack, prob just backstage =/. Started the day with a pretty decent act but sadly he didn’t make it - Lil C. He actually weren’t bad at all, guess there’s just stiff competition. The comedian warm up guy was well jokes too (you won’t see him, he warms up the audience in between each act coming on stage while things get set up and the judges get prepped etc. Who to look out for (hopefully they show all the wicked ones I saw today):

Lmao.. oh my. He was like how he loves his job at Nandos and he’d buy everyone chicken if he does well looool, even ad lib-ed it into his audition as well shouting “mmm.. Nandossss” xD He wants to be the musicman of Nandos. Ahah, I hope they show it but cause he was talking so much about Nandos they might not cause it’s promoting them etc =(. When he started to sing.. AHAHAHA. He sang Louis Armstrong - Wonderful World. All I can say is Tulisa encapsulated it perfectly when she said he seemed so cool, normal then when he sang his voice changed to something like the cookie monster off Sesame Street!

James Ickery/Vickery (something like that - aka funny shirt guy, deaf in left ear)

Sang Cyndi Lauper - Time After Time. Oh my diddy he was sickkkk. I <3 that song too, well Blaque cover version ;). He was amazeballs. Enough said!! « one of my fav’s

Laura James (I think her name is - aka loop-user, beat boxer, singer)

She was amazinggggg. Uses a guitar loop recorder but with her vocal harmonies. Sings Coolio - Gangster’s Paradise. So original. <3 her but her beat boxing was kinda average tbh lol. Amazing though, still.

Joe Cox makes a return after getting turned away at Gary’s Judges Houses last year as well. Much, much better than he was before. Also another really good guy but I can’t for the life of me remember his name!  I’ll know when/if I see him on TV I suppose. Some other dude with a name similar to “Jermaine” but with a slight twist was incredible too! Seriously, just saw so many amazing singers today. Well haps! Had to leave bit early before it ended which was a shame but my friend had somewhere to go. <3’d it! Also, Fukushi.. something! Japanese FOB guy singing Robbie Williams songs, bless him. Hilarious.

Quite a few others, so many I can’t remember their names :( man nearly everyone I saw was at least pretty good. Odd person who was a bit flat or just average but no one shockingly bad - who weren’t at least entertaining anyways. Can’t remember all their names, so annoying. Stupid bad memory >__<” I saw some of the singers when me and my friend were leaving too, so tempted to run up to them for a picture even though they’re not famous (yet!) but I was too shy and embarrassed xD Missed my chance! Damnit. Hehe.

Saw some not-so amazing people who were just okay, my gosh some of them I felt so sorry for.. I know it looks desperate when they’re all like “pleaseee, give me a chance, let me sing something else etc. etc.” but it can’t be easy singing in front of some big ass crowd like that and having a massive chance at your dream ripped away like that. Felt for them boy!

Been thinking about life recently (I know it’s “deep”, right? lol), just how.. surprisingly good it’s been going for me recently *touch wood*. The weather’s been beautiful and I was just chilling under a tree in Regent’s Park after an induction thing I had at a new volunteering job I was at the other day and was just thinking about all the stuff that constantly whirls around in my head, just taking it all in. You know, of course there are always going to be things and situations which get to you but I guess you just have to focus your mind on what’s to come and what you want and keep at it, push the other stuff aside. Anyway, just been feeling good lately and wanted to share it, express it.. be thankful for it. Too often people just rant about the bad things, myself included.

When I think back over the last couple of years and significant memories or moments in my life, there’s just so much that’s bad. At least that’s what I remember first. I just feel like I’m in a good place now, mentally, emotionally, etc. My career path is moving forward at a pace that’s just right for me, not too intimidating or overwhelming but which is still progressive and keeping things new and refreshingly challenging with all the things I’m doing, I’m surrounding myself with good people.. great people. I’m accepting less bullshit and tolerating less crap. For the first time in a long time, things are just really, really good. I’m content with the way things are right now. I mean, I know it might not last and frankly, maybe it’s not meant to, just like sadness doesn’t last forever. They’re all just fleeting moods and emotions anyway. But for the meantime, life is good. I’m bearing in mind that I might not have gone in the direction I thought I would or intended to go but I think I’m exactly where I need to be. Just got to focus on the future and hope things work out for the best. 

Until then, just going to enjoy the lovely weather which fortunately came on my week off work =D Awesome times! Let’s hope I’m this upbeat when I’m back at work on Monday lol.
